Nexture requires an NVIDIA® GPU card with CUDA Compute Capability 3.5 or higher. See NVIDIA documentation for a list of supported GPUs.

We officially support the following operating systems (OS) in 64 bits versions:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 7
  • CentOS 7
  • RHEL 7

We can provide virtual machines or regular pre-configured desktops machines.

Installing Nexture (Unix)

To install Nexture on Unix platform, run the commands below by replacing <filename> with the name of the nexture archive you've downloaded:

mkdir nexture
tar -xzf <filename> -C nexture
cd nexture
sudo sh

The sudo sh commands launches a simple script that decompresses the application into /usr/share/cronobo/nexture and creates a symbolic link to /usr/bin/nxt.

Then, check the installation by running:

nxt check

Launch the installer and follow the steps.

Once completed, the Nexture program can be started from any terminal. The command to invoke it is nxt.

nxt --help

Checking installation

After installation, please open a terminal (don't know how ? see here) and run the nxt command that invokes Nexture:

nxt check

Nexture will perform a series of checks to ensure your installation is healthy. If the check is successful, you're all set.
